Technical Information: Loudspeaker Measurement Data
This
page contains measured loudspeaker data
for use in a variety of 3rd party soundfield
calculation programs. Ease version 3 data is provided for users who
have not upgraded to
version 4, although we urge users to upgrade and take advantage of the
higher accuracy.
Ease version 4 data will be added here as and when it becomes
available. We also support the new Common Loudspeaker
Format (CLF) beginning with the AM series products with AQ and
Blackline to follow in the near future. Further information and a free
data
viewer can be obtained at www.clfgroup.org

EASE
4 DLL's (ver 3)
(Wavefront line array data)
Updated (Oct 05) Corrections have been applied which now more acurately predict
RaSTI values. Other minor bugs have been fixed resulting in more
reliable operation
This
zip file contains the EASE 4 DLL's for the W8L, W8LC and W8LM. To use
these, extract the exe file and run it. This will locate all the
necessary information direct into the Martin Audio EASE data file,
which should already be located on the C drive as
"C:\EASE40Data\Global Speakers40\Martin Audio". Once loaded
the line arrays can be imported into an EASE model in the same manner
as any other loudspeaker. Click on the DLL button and then the value
box and this will allow you to set the number of boxes and angles for
the array as specified by Viewpoint™. Further information
regarding
how to use the dlls and a comparsion to a measured array can be found
in 'Introducing
Martin Audio EASE DLLs'
NOTE
: If you need to perform AURA calculations please contact

OmniLine GLL's
The zip file contains EASE GLL’s for 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 24 enclosure arrays of OmniLine. First use the OmniLine optimisation software to configure the inter-cabinet and array tilt angles, and the required system EQ, then export this data in an xglc file. In your EASE model, select the appropriate line length GLL and insert into the model as if it were a single loudspeaker, using the same height as in the OmniLine software, and the optimised array tilt angle for the vertical angle. In the GLL configuration window, click the ‘Import’ button, select the previously saved xglc file, and the correct inter-cabinet angles and EQ will be assigned to the array.
