Martin Audio is proud to support the #WeMakeEvents Red Alert campaign in support of the UK live event sector which urgently needs government support to survive the COVID-19 crisis.

The events sector employs over 1,000,000 highly skilled people in the UK, all of whom have had no work for the past four months with little likelihood of restarting until Spring. The aim is to have financial support extended for the people and companies in this sector until they can return to work.

To help with the various initiatives we want your stories told and amplified.

We want the entire ecosystem from skilled workers involved in any show through to manufacturers of components that go to supply equipment for live events, to send us a mobile phone video.

Simply introduce yourself, what you do and tell us how you’ve been affected by COVID-19.

Send your video to info@martin-audio.com and we will share.

Dom Harter, Managing Director, commented, “Martin Audio has been fortunate enough to keep trading successfully through this time but so many of our friends in the industry have not and the live events sector is at crisis point. We are happy to do anything to help amplify the voices of the industry and the excellent work by trade bodies to gain much needed government support.”
