INTASOUND INVEST IN NEW MARTIN MINIS AND MONITORS

Worcestershire-based Intasound PA have a long history of running Martin Audio rigs as their premier PA - dating back to the classic F2 of the early 90's.

Since then they have kept pace with the chaging technology, having been an early adopter of the Wavefront 8 Compact - and now the W8LM Mini Line Array.

Francis Dale who runs the PA company, has already fielded the company's 14 x W8LM's and two W8LMD Downfill boxes in large capacity theatres and summer events, including the tour by illusionist Derren Brown and a two day event at the National Trust-owned Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury, home of the Rothschild family.

This event included six full orchestras and on the second (Amphitheatre) stage Intasound ran 10 x W8LMs and 2 x W8LMD's on each side.

'We've also done a Proms concert with the LM's - so they've seen a good cross section of work,' remarks Francis. 'We always use ViewPoint™ predictive software to set the system up - which is fantastic and very accurate.

'In fact Martin Audio are certainly the best company we deal with - and in terms of support and back-up they are brilliant.'

As a result, Intasound have no plans to stop there. They have now put in an order for 20 of Martin Audio's newly-styled and engineered floor monitors, and having received their 6 x LE1500's are now waiting on delivery of 10 x LE1200's and 4 x LE2100's.

'We've moved most of the LE400's out but are sticking with the LE12JB's for the time being,' he continues. 'Eventually I imagine all our wedges will be replaced by the new series.'
