MARTIN AUDIO ENJOYS INSTALLATION SUCCESS

2013 marked a year of many high profile installation successes for Martin Audio and following a very busy ISE in 2014, is set for many more to come.

Bars and nightclubs proved to be a rich segment for Martin Audio in 2013, with previous installs at Ministry of Sound and Pacha both picking up high profile awards for their respective sound systems. New installs had global reach, stretching from Vietnam with the 900-capacity Barocco Club in Ho Chi Minh City to Revolution, one of the largest and most successful dance/nightclubs in Waterloo, Southern Ontario, Canada. Bulgaria enjoyed two high profile installations including the new hip destination of Club Sound in Shoumen, whilst clubbers in Razgrad were treated to a new kind of premium experience in the Soho Club. Closer to home, the multi-purpose Manchester venue,
Gorilla, enjoyed the Martin Audio WT3/Blackline experience , whilst the spectacular SKYE Bar & Restaurant in Jakarta, with stupendous views over the city's skyline, undertook a suite of Martin Audio product solutions to fulfil its restaurant, bar, lounge, restrooms and corridor needs. All proving the case, that when it comes to uniting dance floors and entertaining patrons, Martin Audio truly delivers.

Theatres and auditoriums gained a good showing with MLA Compact beating 8 other manufacturers to secure the Starlight Express installation at Bochum's Stadionring, overcoming both a challenging venue and production, whilst MLA Compact also breathed new life into the historic George Washington University's Lisner Auditorium, immediately helping to establish it as a sophisticated venue, suited to wide variety of musical genres and world artists.

The desire to unite the worship experience for the congregation saw MLA Compact secure its first House of Worship install with Redemption Church in Gilbert, Arizona, USA, whilst OmniLine continued its heritage of discreet look and superb sound at Donaghcloney Presbyterian Church, Northern Ireland.

Hosting a vast range of functions and events, including organ recitals, graduation day ceremonies, plays, VIP and academic lectures - as well as potentially third party rental providing an additional revenue stream - educational facilities often require a versatile sound system. Brigham Young University – Idaho was no different specifying OmniLine as their new sound reinforcement system for its Barrus Auditorium Concert Hall and Taylor Chapel that would provide higher quality audio without being visually intrusive. OmniLine was also in action again, this time providing an ingenious and versatile solution for the Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall, at Essex University.

Hotel patrons enjoyed a sonic makeover when The W Hotel in Washington DC recognised that it needed to upgrade its sound system to not only be discreet but that could also cope with its growing DJ night sessions : enter a range of new equipment including Martin Audio OmniLine arrays and AQ Series speakers for the lounge, terrace and lobby.

Rounding off the showpieces, Košice, the European Capital for Culture chose Martin Audio W8LM as the main sound system at the headquarters of the Support Center of Culture and Creativity. OmniLine brought serious business into focus at the corporate rooms for Ajax FC, extending the company's relationship with the Amsterdam ArenA (where it already had a massive W8LM stadium system installed). And finally, Martin Audio also commenced a new relationship with TUI Cruises, following FUNA specifying Martin Audio in all the entertainment venues on their newest cruise liner.

As Managing Director, Anthony Taylor concludes, '2013 was a year where the breadth and strength of our install solutions came of age and there are now few market applications that Martin Audio does not excel within. We're clearly looking to accelerate this in 2014'.
