OLD BARN ANGOLA INSTALL AT DOOBAHR NIGHTCLUB
Phil Clark and Neil Kavanagh, seen pictured here with key staff members from the DooBahr Nightclub and OonDah Restaurant have just returned from a very successful week installing the largest Martin Audio system in Angola to date.
After a very long flight, a long queue at customs, a hair raising drive through the streets of downtown Luanda and then a serene entrance to the 5* facility that is The DooBahr Nightclub and OonDah Restaurant, work began in earnest to install this first class system.
The pictured outside terrace was fed with six Martin Audio AM15 speakers fitted using custom-made brackets high up upon the steel roof pointing down towards the dance-floor. These were then supported by four Martin Audio AS118 sub enclosures. Powered by MA5.2k and MA12k amplifiers the sound, described by Fernando Rosa DooBahr manager, was nothing short of amazing. Having spent many hours tuning the system, the end result was very welcomed.
The inside bar complemented the outside area with an array of Martin Audio AQ12's in black along with floor standing Martin Audio AQ215's, again in black. Powered by MA5.2k and MA3.0 amplifiers this very simple zone worked seamlessly.
All sundry zones augmented the two main zones with Martin Audio AQ8's, Martin Audio AM12's and Martin Audio C6.8T ceiling speakers. Control was by a single Engineer 418 with numerous patches to allow differing inputs and outputs to be combined in various ways.
Isak Ewert, the project manager for the upgrade of the new OonDah Nightclub, was thrilled with the attention to detail offered by Old Barn Audio. He quotes 'It was really a pleasure to have you over for the installation in Luanda. Everyone involved has praised your professional execution of the work. Thank you very much for the completion of a great installation'
Old Barn Audio look forward to working in Luanda again on the next OonDah venue.
