ROAD TO STARDOM NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT MLA
In the midst of China's highly competitive variety television show wars, 'Road to Stardom' has leapt ahead of the competition and taken over in the ratings battle.
'Road to Stardom', produced by Guangdong Television is an inspirational large-scale reality program that shows off the singing and dancing talents of its male competitors. The celebrity judges are Taiwanese superstar singer Elva Hsiao, writer and movie director Guo Jingming, and actress Liu Xiaoqing. The show is recorded live at the 3,000 seat Zhejiang Pinghu Gymnasium and a capacity crowd attends each taping.
Beijing Pacific Budee provides the sound system for the show and Martin Audio's MLA was the obvious choice. The system Budee set up consists of eight MLA cabinets and four MLX subwoofers, split on both sides of the stage. 'Road to Stardom' consists of a variety of music styles and requires a powerful arena system while also being able to deliver the music's subtle details for the audience at home.
Where MLA truly stands out is in its sound targeting capabilities, guaranteeing optimal, consistent sound inside the arena. With its industry leading VU-NET software, MLA provides Budee's FOH team with unique control of the sound elements including steering, frequency response and sound pressure levels.
