MARTIN AUDIO DEMOS POPULAR PRODUCTS AT WFX 2018
As part of its ongoing North American demo tour, Martin Audio will be demonstrating the new Wavefront Precision Compact (WPC) line arrays, SXH218 subs, CDD-LIVE 12 speakers and CSX-LIVE 118 subs at WFX 2018 on November 13-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Martin Audio’s dedicated demo session will be Wednesday, November 14 at 1pm.
Designed as complete systems with external iKON multi-channel amplifiers and optimized by automated DISPLAY software, Wavefront Precision line arrays feature scalable resolution for absolute flexibility in optimizing control, coverage and consistency.
The ideal companion for Martin Audio’s new WPC optimized line array in low end heavy applications or high-performance installs, the SXH218 hybrid passive subwoofer includes two extremely high-powered 4.5” coil, 18” drivers and can achieve an impressive max SPL of 148dB and is powered by either one channel of an iK42 or for full output a bridged pair of channels.
With three full-range models and two subwoofers, CDD-LIVE covers practically all applications for live audio and installed sound. The speakers combine the ‘point-source’ benefits of coaxial designs with the consistent coverage of Differential Dispersion technology to project sound evenly front-to-back while exhibiting wide horizontal coverage close to the speaker.
Each demonstration day will offer 5 listening sessions of both compact systems and portable loudspeakers. Each full demo session has tracks played in round robin format—3 tracks through the portable systems and 4 through the compact systems. Listeners move from system to system, evaluating what they’re hearing and also observing each system’s scale, components and features.
